Steps

1
Place 1 TEMP TABS®-TRUE BLUE: in a ceramic cup in the microwave in about 1" of water at less than boiling (1 minute on "high" on most microwaves) just until the material changes from its opaque blue color to a clear blue color. Once heated the material will remain clear and ready to use in the warmed water for about 5 minutes.
2
Use for your application. For example, to make an easy matrix for provisional materials: after the Tab(s) have become transparent, remove from water and stay wet-fingered to avoid sticking. Place on the occlusal surface of the tooth to be prepped and the two adjacent. Press down and roll the balance of the material into the margins. Cool in 20 seconds with your air syringe. Product will turn opaque.
3
Remove cooled Tab from the mouth.
4
Use a provisional crown and bridge material according to manufacturer instructions. A separating medium for temporary materials containing MMA should be used.

Remove temporary from matrix in its elastic stage to avoid sticking.
