Steps

Heat 1 Bite-BUDDY® in a ceramic cup in the microwave in about 1" of water (1 minute on "high" on most microwaves). Just until the material changes from its opaque blue color to a clear blue color. Once heated the material will remain clear and ready to use, in the water, for up to 5 minutes.

Staying WET FINGERED, remove the form from the water when ready to use and shake off excess water.

Form, adjust size and apply heated Bite-BUDDY® to buccal surfaces, over the lower arch*, at the preps, wherever a detailed, rigid impression is required.

After the appliance is cool to the touch and is set (opaque), remove it from the mouth and then reposition it to check for overly binding undercuts. Place the appliance under cold water for a few seconds.

Remove temporary from matrix in its elastic stage to avoid sticking.
